Anna Urena

Anna Urena, born and raised in New York, has an extensive background in dance technique. Having trained in her formative years in Ballet, Modern, Contemporary, Jazz, and musical theater she eventually discovered a deep-rooted passion for Latin social dances, Bachata and especially Salsa. 

She has received comprehensive technical training in both leading and following as a certified instructor. Anna combines all of this training into a holistic approach to dance that aims to bring people fulfillment through music and movement.

Anna is also in the rotation schedule once a month at TUMBAO | Latin Fridays, teaching “Beginning Salsa”.

Anna is available for private lessons/classes, offering 1:1, Couples and Group sessions. She also offers dance lessons for special occasions.
